The Indian Professionals Association (IPA) recently hosted a vibrant and memorable Diwali celebration, marking another successful chapter in our ongoing commitment to fostering unity and promoting India’s cultural heritage abroad.
Held on October 26th at the Atrium Hotel in Roissy, the event brought together IPA members, distinguished guests, and supporters, gathering in a shared spirit to celebrate Diwali as a unifying force for our diverse community in France.
The evening was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including the Indian Ambassador to France, the Head of Bank of India, France, and the Head of Air India, Southern Europe. Their attendance underscores the importance of IPA in the minds of key networks, and it was truly our collective effort that brought them together under one roof. For this, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the respective office bearers who coordinated with the IPA team to help make the Diwali event a grand success. We would also like to thank the Rotary Club members who joined us for the occasion.
With such remarkable support, it was clear that our shared values continue to find strength in numbers.
A true highlight of the evening was the captivating cultural program, featuring a unique fusion of Indian classical music performed by Kengo from Japan on sitar and Matthias from France on tabla.
Their performance—a beautiful demonstration of India’s soft power—captured the universal appeal of Indian culture and the shared passion of international artists who work to preserve and celebrate India’s heritage abroad.
This musical dialogue reminded us that India’s cultural influence reaches far beyond its borders, resonating with diverse audiences worldwide and strengthening our collective identity.
Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed opportunities to connect, share stories, and truly immerse themselves in the warmth and joy of Diwali.
It was a reminder that, much like the threads of a finely woven tapestry, our individual contributions create a stronger, unified community. The bonds formed and reinforced on this night epitomize IPA’s mission, which is to foster a sense of belonging while preserving our rich cultural heritage.
Looking ahead, we recognize that our journey is one best traveled together.
We encourage all members to actively participate in future IPA events, embracing the spirit of togetherness that lies at the heart of our association. As the saying goes, “many hands make light work,” and with your continued engagement, we can build on this legacy, forging connections that bring us all closer as an extended IPA family.
We invite you to join us in this journey, as we share more photos and updates from the Diwali celebration. Let’s keep the momentum going and make our future events as memorable and impactful as this one!
Thank you,
Indian Professionals Association, France
