IPA DAY 2016 – I N V I T A T I O N
IPA, in association with the Indian Embassy in Paris has the pleasure to invite you to its Annual Conference entitled “2025 A PEEP INTO THE FUTURE”:
Clay Christensen, the Harvard Professor famous for his work on disruptive innovation, said that we are trained to follow the process of “data-driven, fact-based analytical decision making.” “The problem with this approach”, he goes on to say “is that data is only available about the past, and the only convincing data available pertains to the recent past. There is no data for the future, so we have to ask ourselves how we can predict the future. We need a theory to help us understand what causes what and why”.
That about sums up the challenge for those in the IPA who wish to “Peep” into the future and see how it will affect our lives in 2025. Sub themes will include, but not limited to: How does a Futurist read the future? Future Scenarios in Geopolitics, Environment…How Technology will change our Work Space? The Way We Will Learn; Our Transport Systems & Modes…
