Speaker’s Profile & Event Description
As one of India’s top-level diplomats, Ms Ruchira Kamboj is the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to UNESCO in Paris since 2 years. She was formerly the Chief of Protocol to the Government of India – a first such position held by a woman from the IFS.
She joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1987 and has since occupied senior diplomatic posts in London, Cape Town, Mauritius, New York and Paris. She has also held positions of Director / Deputy Secretary and Under Secretary (Europe West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
Indian Professionals Association, France is honored to be addressed by Her Excellency, Ambassador Kamboj. Today, She will share with us her insights about the importance of the roles played by members of Indian diaspora for the development of their mother country.
