Engineer by training, former member of the French Assembly, graduate of ENA (“Voltaire” year with François Hollande), Mr Cambacérès graduated in Chinese from INALCO and from Sciences Po Grenoble. He is one of the most distinguished experts on the Asian issues and is the President of the “France-Asie” Association, whose aim is to raise awareness amongst the French companies of the Asian countries and vice versa. Since 2010, he is associate professor at ESCE business school (Relations with Asia).
Jean-Marie Cambacérès is the author of a biography entitled “Sihanouk, le roi insubmersible”, published on 7 March 2013 by the French Publisher Cherche Midi. In this rich biography, he depicts the unusual destiny of Norodom Sihanouk who was the king of Cambodia, considered as one of the founders of Francophonie and one of the strongest and most original personalities of Asia. In 1992, Mr. Cambacérès married the princess Nanda-Devi Norodom (granddaughter of Norodom Sihanouk).
