Speaker’s Profile & Event Description
As a journalist and communications officer by profession, Constance has worked for almost 10 years for governmental agencies and non-profit organizations in various domains: business angels, risk investments, children at risk, education. Constance has an excellent academic background with a Masters in History from Paris-Sorbonne and a Masters from Science-Po in History and Journalism. She has also collaborated on several books and articles.

After moving to Italy for familial reasons, she’s now working as a free-lance communications expert and her blog www.theindianproject.com about business relationship between France and India, has a sizeable following. This blog came about to address:

1) a low level of economic exchanges between India and France, and

2) a lack of information about doing business in/with India which was dedicated to small and medium size companies and entrepreneurs.

Event Topic : FRENCH ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN INDIA

Since some time, French media (Le Point, Les Échos…) have noticed and highlighted this new trend. And indeed, it looks like more and more French entrepreneurs are launching their activity in India. The French Embassy itself has organized an event for them. Some French entrepreneurs’ associations are emerging in major cities of India. But who are these French entrepreneurs? Why do they choose India? How are they faring? Is being French an advantage or a disadvantage when launching a business enterprise in India?
