As an experienced practitioner and teacher of breathing, meditation and yoga with the Art of Living Foundation, Mrs Rajaraman has over the past thirty years taught in countries across Africa (including Botswana, South Africa, and Kenya), South America, Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Asia. Trained from an early age in classical music (veena) and dance (Bharata Natyam), Hema Rajaraman ran a renowned dance and music school in Botswana in addition to her work with the Art of Living.
Since 2008, Hema has been based in Bangalore and travels teaching advanced meditation workshops, she also conducts dance workshops, bringing together techniques from her classical training with her expertise in breathing exercises and yoga.

Event Description

The Art of Living Foundation is an international NGO, working in 155 countries, focused on various dimensions such as social transformation, child education, women and youth empowerment and world peace through yoga meditation, Sudarshan Kriya and other spiritual philosophies. Mrs. Rajaraman will help us discover through practical demonstration some effective techniques to:

  • Boost the immune system and overall energy levels
  • Reduce stress, anxiety and depression and relax to deal with challenges
  • Learn ways to improve clarity of mind, focus and resilience
